Diflucan Tablets are an effective and well-tolerated treatment for thrush (Candida tropicalis). These tablets are often used in conjunction with other treatment options to treat thrush. The active ingredient in these tablets is fluconazole, which works by inhibiting the growth and multiplication of Candida, thereby eliminating the need for antifungal treatments. Fluconazole tablets are available in strengths of 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 7.5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg. The recommended dosage of fluconazole in diflucan is 2.5 mg (5 mg tablets) taken orally once a day for 7 days. This dosage is usually sufficient for treating vaginal candidiasis, but it may be necessary to increase the dosage to 10 mg daily for treating candidemia. It is also important to take fluconazole with meals. Fluconazole tablets should be taken at least 30 minutes before or 2 hours after eating a high-fat meal. Fluconazole tablets are not recommended for children under the age of 10 years unless the benefit outweighs the risk. Fluconazole tablets are not suitable for pregnant women and women of childbearing potential. Fluconazole tablets should not be taken by women who have kidney or liver problems. Fluconazole tablets are not approved for use in children under the age of 10 years.

In addition to the major urinary tract infections, the majority of candidal infections are caused by yeast (tract infections, skin infections, and abscesses). Fluconazole is also a relatively effective first-line therapy for infections of the vagina and respiratory tract. There is no equivalent treatment for fungal infections of the skin and respiratory tract. Fluconazole may be of benefit in the following situations:• cisplastic vaginal candidiasis due to Candida glabrata• urinary tract infections• oropharyngeal candidiasis, including otitis media• esophagitis due to Candida albicans• other candida infections (including candidemia, infections associated with the immune system)• peritonitis (caused by Candida glabrata). The efficacy of fluconazole in these situations has not been studied in detail so are important for the correct use of fluconazole as an antifungal agent. The safety of oral fluconazole has not been established in the patients being treated for vaginal candidiasis.
Diflucan® ONE is a medication with the active ingredient fluconazole. It is a synthetic azaflutin, which is a derivative of cyp3tradein cytochrome P450 isoforms 1 and 2 and of interest because it prevents yeast or fungal from producing the antifungal effect. Fluconazole is administered orally and it is often effective in the treatment of cryptococcal meningitis (also known as cryptococcal meningitis-CM).
Gynthia J, Hatley JP, Wunderink P, Bhatt RP, Ramdev S.Diflucan is used for the treatment of systemic candidiasis, especially in patients with a positive external yeast ter Board as it may be effective in the eradication of the yeast infection.
